How to Grunt?

Since the topic of Grunt Tubes came up,,and some say they work, others say they have littleluck. Just what is the correct way to "Grunt"? I watched the Cd that came with the Growl and seemed those guys called every which way, and no particular way. I liked the few vocalizations they actually included from the live bucks. Would be neat to have a recording of just buck vocalizations. Of coarse I am sure there is one for sale. Everthing is for sale. Is there a wrong way to grunt? On the CD the deer vocalized but not a whole lot.

I like the analagy in that CD. They said that a buck will grunt when his feet hit the ground while he is in "pursuit". As if the air is being forced out of him when he walks, thus making a grunting sound.

A couple years back I was with a buddy who just started bow hunting and he tried a grunting with no deer around and thought he messed up so he went ahead and started grunting the national anthem and I kid you not we had a 2.5 yr old eight pointer come in on it. So I dont really know if there is a wrong way?
