I'm looking at buying a 2002 hoyt cybertec with the Maxi cams on it. Why did hoyt only use this system for one year? It has the light brown advantage camo on it. Is there anything wrong with these bows? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think this was a well received cam. Is this the one where you only have one size cam for each draw? (Not adjustable + or - 1/2") The color should be Forest Floor for 2002 Camo.

The maxi is an easy draw system that lacked some performance. It had a great draw stop with a very nice pull, but really only found great favor in the indoor target

world. Nice bow, just won't scream like some others.

Rudd you are right the camo is the forest floor. He is asking 450 for it and it seems like it is in nice shape. I just didn't know why Hoyt didn't keep the Maxi cam system. Now I know why. Thanks guys.

What the heck is a maxi cam? In 2002 the only cam options were Excelcam single cam, Versa cam single cam, Command cam plus two cam, and Accuwheel two wheel. All of these were adjustable with the exception of the Excel cam.

Iaarcher, you are right...I was thinkin of the bow that beat you this year...a Mathews

DJ DJ DJ! You are about to have a huge can of whoop-azz opened in here. You need to put those b-b guns away and starting shooting a hoyt bow. hehehehe

I know, I failed. I get those stick and cat gut things confused. Which end of the arrow do I point at the animal again?

More fun to play with the firesticks!!! Bows are too quiet...unless you shoot a Bowtech.

Ooops, my bad. The "red headed step child" of the Hoyt world, yes, they do go bang(just cause they don't put the same sound stuff on it that hoyt does, but don't tell Muddy.).
