What new hunting gear are you guys going to purchase prior to this Fall's hunting season?

I have been wearing the same old camo clothes for years now and have been too cheap to invest in a nice set of Scent Lock camo. I hate to go out there with my new bow without some new hunting duds.

This is the year!

I need a new wool sweater before my Wyoming moose hunt Sept 1st. Accidentally ran my old one through the wash and shrunk it.

Already bought a lone wolf climbing stand. Stumbled across a good deal on my way through Owatonna, MN and couldn't pass it up.

I need to pick up a good set of camo rain gear, been using the cheapies for a long time.

Maybe a some new boots also.

i believe i got everything i need at the end of last year and at this springs hunting shows. but you never know ?

New rubber boots on the way and sport chief waterproof mid weight parka and pants in Adv Timber. Maybe a supprescent or Scent Blocker liner to go with.

A pair of wool bibs, and a pair of Wind River bino's. My Nikon 10x's are too big and bulky.

i got a new bow, switched to carbon arrows, thinking about a drop away rest, need a quiver, bought a digital camcorder, and a digital camera, thinking about a 80 dollar deer cam, need rubber boots, and more strap on tree steps. i also need to buy tons of tags!! then i might be set lol

I'm probably gonna get a trail cam. After seeing everyone's nice pics, I've convinced myself that I need one. I'm also looking at the Montec BH's. Everything that's been said about them, I just have to give 'em a try. Will probably also pick-up some odds'n ends when I go to Cabela's in KC in a few weeks.

I'm getting some new Nikon binoculars to replace my 15 year old 8x20 P.O.S. ones that I use now. Actually, either the binocs or a Leica rangefinder, havn't decided yet.

I'm waiting for the Fall Hunting Classic at Bass Pro to see what crap I think I need this year.. My "cash stash" is coming along nicely and is burning a hole in my pocket. I'd like to get a Double Bull blind if possible. Who knows, my transmission is acting up again and the old Chevy might get the $$$$$ I guess you can't hunt if you can't get there.

yea, muddy as a matter of fact i'm thinking about coming down to iowa city next saturday and looking around just to see whats new. how come scheels don't have a fall classic ,
with sales rep and such like pro bass shop does ?

Muddy you should really think about buying advertising here on the site!

Rack - buy a bicycle

Ghost - buy advertising?? if OneCam makes me then i'll think about it.

i have no idea why scheels doesn't have a rep get together. probably cuz we don't really have the room. if we used the parking lot we'd have to pay the mall $$$$ for the parking spots taken up.

Nothing! Scheels forced me into a new set of BU camo last year that I am still making payments on.

I was going to replace my old "MADE IN USA" Plain Green Lacrosse Burlies but what I see out there now makes me sad about the boot business, so I guess it will be "MADE IN USA" tire patches.

That leaves more money for gas and tags to go hunting.

This year I've purchased:
- double bull blind
- new pair of 8x42 binocs
- new tree suit tree stand
- 8 tree stands (got a good deal)

- 1 ladder stand
(do you think I have enough stands

My wife does

)

I still plan on getting:
- a new decoy
- arrows and more broadheads
- maybe a new range finder

Also let me recommend to everyone to at least check out and price compare with some of the sponsors on the site. They have as good or better prices than the "Other" major sporting good stores, great service and most of all they support Iowawhitetail.com.

Both Archery Field & Sports and Central Iowa Archery will be having open houses in the next couple of months with lots of great sales.
