Hunting Movies???

What are some of your guys favorite whitetailed hunting movies? I watch them alot to keep me pumped for next year. My favorite is probably PrimeTime Bucks 6.

I watched Jack Brittingham's original Buck Fever for the first time this week. I was impressed with the quality of bucks, great buck fights, and they show pictures of the same bucks over multiple years. Shows that just a year can make a huge diffrence. This video rates at the top of my list.

Prime time 6 is good but personally i enjoy watching homevideos featured by realtree by bill jordan. it's a mix of all kinds of great footage all of the videos are awesome. it just stinks all proceeds go to jordan and company.

I seem to like the Primetime series and the Kisky series. A lot of great bucks on both. The Brittingham series is shot in a high fence (or at least it used to be)so that will explain the quality of large deer seen CI but it is nice to view large bucks like that in a seeminly wild setting.

I would have to say that any of the Kisky Production Videos are good. Like Taking it to the Extreme 1,2,3 Everyone of those movies has pretty much a trail cam of the deer they shot and even some of the have photos of the deer from the past years. Also they usual have sheds from that deer also. If you don't have any of there movies i would strongly suggest to puchase them.

If they are high fance deer I remove my rating. Still good footage, and still takes hardwork, and effort but many variables change under those conditions. Realtree, and Primetime series are always a favorite. Quality productions and deer.

CI I do not know about the texas deer, just the Illinois deer being high fenced. The ranch they used to hunt in Illinois and still may is around the Macomb area. I think if he killed that many big bucks in a wild setting, NAW would have picked him up for som stories by now????

I think they did. In this video they showed tips for photographing harvests. I remember a clip with him on the cover. I will double check. The tips are really good. Similar to the post in the PMA awhile back. Just checked he is on a NAW cover. Content I'm not sure.

Hunt on All4s

Shredder, I recall noticing a high fence in the background on his daughter's Texas hunt. As far as the realtree Monster Buck videos go, I can honestly say they're some of my least favorite videos in my collection. You can only watch them hunt the same ranch in south Texas, and the same property along the Milk river in Montana so many times. Also, they're kind of corny and half the video consist of them going back and filming facial expressions.

I like the videos from the Wensel brothers (Gene and Barry). They were out in the late 80s, early 90s. You can still find them in stores today. They do all types of hunting in the videos. Stand, ground, drives it is all good and they have a sense of humor while doing it.

My personal favorite is Lethal Flight. I have forgotten the name of the guy but he hunts everything with his bow. Frogs, pheasant, gar, grizzly, deer, squirrel, racoon, turkey, crow. You name it he shoots it. He also shoots instinctive. It's not just a deer hunting movie but man is it exciting.

I would rate the Drurys and the Kiskys at the top of the list, with Primos coming in a close third. I like the first two because they hunt in the midwest most of the time. I like Primos due to their video style. They dont re-inact shots, they just film it as it happens.

lxshooter - you are referring to lethal flight by tim wells. he is awesome. he also produces the double bull videos, excellent movies.

Muddy - it is by Tim Wells. That gar he shoots in that thing is INCREDIBLE! It's really the only movie I can sit and watch over and over again.

I personnally like BKS (Roger Raglin) tapes the best, then Kisky and Primetime second best.

The reason I like Roger's tapes the best is he actually teaches people and don't just show hunts. Plus his personality really makes the tapes. Of coarse I might be partial to him, because we are friends. Super nice guy!

Anyways alot of good people out there!

i saw a roger raglin tv show. TO ME he was slightly more annoying than listening to ted nugent on one of his spirit of the wild blood brother tyrades. have never seen one of his videos but would be willing to give it a shot and a second opinion.

I agree Baby-G Roger Raglin is my favorite as well! he seems to be a knowledgeable hunter, and he kills monsters on public land!
