This is my first post in the Harvest Report, and man, does it feel good!
Today is opening day of Oklahoma's rifle season, and I caught this buck trailing a doe this morning.
I got my first trail camera picture of this deer Thursday, and couldn't really tell what he was, except that he had a big body. Not knowing much about his rack, I shook all over when I lifted his head out of the leaves. He's a mainframe ten point with six kickers and good mass.
I've killed several mature bucks, but none of them had headgear like this. He'll be the first of hopefully many to hang on the wall.
