I COULDN'T RESIST

A week ago I bid on a slightly used trykon package on ebay.(Just for chits) I think all said and done the bow went for right around a grand if I'm not mistaken. Well today I got a second chance offer from the guy saying that he could not get ahold of either of the two highest bidders. So he offered it to me at my last bid. I've bought a couple bows on ebay over the last year or two and have yet to be dissapointed so hopefully my luck will continue. I got the whole package listed below for $750 shipping included. I wish I would have put my max a little lower.

You are bidding on a 2006 Hoyt Trykon XT 75th Anniversary Compound Bow. This bow comes ready to rock! The bow is right handed and has a 28.5" draw length, 62lb draw(adjustable to 70lbs.), and 80% let off and is in like new condition (shot maybe 75 arrows). Like I said the bow is ready to rock. I am including the drop away arrow rest, three pin adjustable Fuse sight with bubble level, sight light, peep sight, string loop, (8) carbon express arrows, (6) rocky mountain t100 broadheads, the Fuse quick release quiver, sts system, Fuse stabilizer, Scott release, string wax, handle sling, a whole pack of match weight field tips, and the case. Everything on the bow is either Fuse or Hoyt. This thing is quiet, smooth, and FAST! The release is a scott goose and the case is a Lakewood hard/soft case with dual zippers covered in Mossy Oak (case is in 100% condition). The BEST of everything!!!
I will accept either paypal or a money order. No personal checks. Buyer has 48 hours to contact me and make payment after sale. If no contact is made the item goes directly back on ebay. I will ship the bow immediately upon receipt of payment. I can ship anywhere in the U.S., possibly Canada. Shipping cost for U.S. is a flat rate of $30.00. Anywhere else may be discussed if necessary.

If you have any other questions feel free to contact me via email and I will get back with you ASAP! More pictures available as well. Thank you and good luck!!!

Be careful of those second chance offers there are a ton of SCAMS going on on ebay now. That is one of the biggest make sure it is ligit before you pay. A quick tool is to make sure where they request payment is the same as where the auction was held. Sorry to be negative but I know that alot of people that have been getting ripped off lately...

A great deal if legit, just be careful and double check everything. I usually look a sellers phine number up on the internet, verify the name and address match and call the number to verify the seller lives there. That at least gives you a resonable way to track them down if they do burn you. Also pay with a credit card if possible.

I was just looking at the pics of the bow again and are those Iowawhitetail wraps on those arrows.

I'm sure the original auction was real, the scam is the loser's that pretend to be the seller and offer a second chance to the people who just missed winning the auction. They often trick 1-4 bidders on high ticket items walking away with 100's or 1000's of $$$$$.The people that missed the auction are happy as a clam on the great deal the got until the item never shows up and the con's have switched identity again off hustling other's. I would contact ebay the seller and keep all communication within ebay. (DON'T SEND WESTERN UNION) money unless you are certain it is legit.

Go through the notices at ebay of current scams, or look at John Deere lawn mowers on ebay they look like a looks like the deal of a lifetime but complete scam.

Ebay 2nd offer scam

This one seems legit to me. It showed up on my messages and he has contacted me a couple of times saying he is shipping the bow friday morning.

About a month ago I had a second chance offer on another trykon but it was all just through my email, nothing through my ebay. He asked me for my name and shipping address and then said ebay would contact me about paying for the item. I did email him my name and the address I wanted it shipped to but I haven't heard from him since.

Is there anything he could have gotten from me just by giving him my name and a address. Man I would freak out if I got jacked like some people do.

Now I'm getting a little suspicious. I just saw this other auction for a trykon and everything is freakishly similar to the auction I won. It's worded basically the exact same way.

Not really sure what to do. They are different people, states, feedback.

ebay is evil. After having to get new accounts on our credit cards and other important accounts I have pretty much sworn off that place.

Well now I feel better. I emailed him and just asked a few dumb questions. He emailed me back and said it shipped today and he also gave me a cell #. I can rest easy I hope.

Get a tracking # and get on the shippers website to track it.

[/ QUOTE ] I do that all the time with my Eastbay things. I works really good.

Well the bow came a few days ago and I couldn't be happier. I didn't like a few things that whoever set it up did so we're tweaking a little. There were eight carbon express cx300's with the bow so I just finished wrapping and refletching them (w/blazers). The last arrows I fletched with blazers I went straight with a little offset. Tried to put as much helical on these as possible so we'll see how the shoot. Should be able to start breaking it in tomorrow. And I can't wait. Did shoot his setup a couple of times and MAN she's smoking fast. I figured he had about $1400-$1450 in it so for $748 that's not to bad.

Great deal, Sorry to be a (NAYSAYER)just did not want to see anyone get ripped off.
Nice looking rig, enjoy!!

JJ,
Nice looking outfit. Glad everything turned out to be legit.
I sell on Ebay all the time. There are some really great sellers out there.
Most people that get duped sometimes do it to themselves. A seller's feedback is the one most important item to them.
Glad it worked out for you.
