Never had this happen before. I wondered why I didn't have an exit wound on the buck. Bad part is that it ricocheted up through part of a backstrap.

we have found quite a few slugs, but never one in so many pieces

3" Winchester Super X. This is my first year using them. I used Remmington Coppersolids before but I couldn't find those this year. No wonder he went down so fast.
