I was wondering how many people have the "jerky shooters". Where you use ground deer or beef and season and then can make jerky? More info would be appreciated. As in how they work, and recipes..thanks very much....

I own a jerky shooter and it works as advertised. Be careful when mixing the spices into the meat, make sure you have the correct amount. A buddy of mine made a batch and he wanted it extra spicy so he put extra seasoning in a batch and that stuff was so salty I couldn't eat it. We use Hi Mountain seasoning kits.
On a side note I've made deer brats using a kit and they turned out excellent.
