I Need Info..........

On anything anyone knows about the special late season. anything from tag prices to the dates and what weapons i could use. i love hunting deer in the snow and this sounds like this could give me a chance to do so after they have settled down a bit from the shotgun season. i basically have no idea about it and any info would help.

Same price as any other deer tag $26 unless you have already purchased an anterless tag then its $11. You can use any legal weapon, handgun, shotgun, bow, or muzzleloader. The season runs from Jan. 11-19th and the tags are done county by county so your area might already be sold out. Good luck getting a tag and if you do have fun filling it.

how many tags do they sell? and its just antlerless? and i can go withmy bow one night and then a muzzleloader??

You might want to check the Iowa DNR website for dates and legal weapons. I'm planning to hunt from Jan. 11-23 for the late antlerless only. I was planning on using a muzzleloader or shotgun. I would think a bow would be legal as well.
Are antlerless tags still available for the county you hope to hunt?
