I think I have a problem

After youngmoose got his buck Monday I told myseld I was done for the year. Then Thursday rolled around and I thought, what the heck, I'll go out one more time since I wasn't gonna be able to go this weekend. Then Friday came and the same thing. As I was driving home after Fridays hunt I was already thinking about stand placement and stratagy for next years hunt. Here I had just finished my last hunt only a few minutes before and I was thinking about next year. So here's what I want to ask.........

A. Should I go spend say, several thousand bucks on a bunch of wordworking tools to keep my mind preoccupied on something else...

B. Should I think up good convincing agruments for my wife on why I need to go to Alaska this fall...

C. Should I focus my efforts to predator and shed hunting. (which go well together by the way)...

or D. Go schedule an appointment with a shrink...

UHHH, B. But I would do some shed hunting in the time being, strap on the snowshoes and start your work out now... Are you coming up with your good pal Dale...
 
Sounds like you have a problem for sure. An unfilled tag. Better fill it and you will feel better.
 
I agree with Shovelbuck...all of the above...but I would surely push B to the top of the list and go kill the largest member of the deer family. Here's what you could do to while away the hours..predator and shed hunt in the upcoming months, come up here for spring black bear hunting in May..salmon fish all summer, hunt dall sheep in August, then moose in September, and you'll be home just in time to hang your stand for bow season!!! What a great idea!

Perry, if you THINK, you need a shrink.... There should be no question about your " B ".. Get your a butt up here like shoot2kill said... Bring the family along, com'on.......... Theres plenty of room for the NR!

but it would be fun if all 3 of my kids could join me on a hunt up there. Maybe when they're all graduated from college and making the big bucks they can all go and pay my way for a hunt..

"B" is the answer. I could even send you a tape of our great caribou hunt I had there, back in "99". You could even let your wife watch it with you. Then she too, will be convinced, that you can go !!
