Answering your post, Ive seen lots of posted signs before but nothing that serious, theres alot of nylon posters back were I hunted whitetails and some had some nasty words on there, it kinda reminds me of a shortfused kinda guy that guards his property more then he hunts. There was one individualy that was just a d!(k of what that sign reminds me of..

...in my younger days there was a sign that always made me smile...it was hand-painted in bright orange on a pretty substantial piece of plywood...it read:
No Hunting
No Fishing
No Trespassing
No Fun of Any Kind
...it was posted on the most over-grazed, tree-less pasture you could imagine...there wasn't much fun to be had on the place anyhow...

That reminds me of a sign I saw an a farm a couple of years ago in the fall here in my area. The sign was right in the middle of the driveway into a 160 acre farm. All it said was "NO HUNTING". Now that might not seem unusual unless you saw the farm. All 160 acres of corn stalks had been shredded, disked, and deep ripped. There was not a single piece of cover for a pheasant to hide on the entire farm even if he wanted to. Well the farmer had it right, there was absolutly "NO HUNTING" on that farm. There wasn't any pheasants on it either.

These signs are no more spooky than the silly sign at the store that says shoplifters will be beaten. The guy wanted the point to be remembered and that was it.
The ones to worry about are the ones that the DNR won't go near the property. Those of you near Washington, Iowa may know some areas like that. This guy is just being creative in his posting.

their used to be a guy in my area that had an old pig self feeder lid at the end of his driveway. The lid had " NO HUNTING, DONT EVEN ASK!" painted on it. Not sure who did it, but late one night somebdy painted over it and wrote " PLEASE HUNT".
the sign disapeared the next day. lol
