IBA (Iowa Bowhunters Association) spring banquet will be held on February 28 at Prairie Meadows Hotel in Des Moines with Tim Wells as guest speaker. The banquet is NOT on the same weekend as the Iowa Deer Classic. We have expanded our room to make room for more but still have more room left and tickets available. Tickets are $40 for an adult and $20 for youth 16 and under. Deadline to buy tickets is the 15th - just 6 days away. Everyone is welcome, you do NOT need to be a member to attend.

Tickets can be purchased by mail or online - links and address on this webpage. http://iowabowhunters.org/springbanquettix.htm

We have more merchandise in raffles, live and silent auctions than I have ever seen before. I know the raffle committee I am part of has over $7500 worth of prizes, all to be given away that night. Including:
  • Echo Gas powered pole saw
  • Temple Rye Barrel and Gift Certificate for Rick Whitaker mount
  • Covert Code Black Trail Cam and Stick-N-Pic mount

If your banquet is on Feb. 28 and you have to use the hunt above in Jan or Feb of 2015...you aren't leaving the winning bidder much time! :D You may want to check the parameters on that one. :D

Is there a way to bid on anything if you can't make the dinner that night?

I will look into the dates on that one - most likely just a misprint.

Someone has to be there to bid on it - you can elect someone that will be there to bid for you but all items do need to be paid for that evening. Or better yet, just come yourself!

See u there! My wife actually ordered the tickets and is excited to go.

Lots of the guys in our group bring their wives, I am bringing mine too - they really enjoy it and there is quite a bit of women's stuff there as well.

Some one might have to tie my hands down when the African hunts get auctioned!!

It's all for the betterment of the IBA so by all means please do so. :D

I can arrange it so they sit at different tables so if you run off to get beer often enough you might be able to pull it off ;)

Still have a couple days to order your banquet tickets - look at all the merchandise and hunts we are offering - something for everyone!
