Food Plots are always a great thing for deer, wildlife, and hunters...

I dont know for sure. If its a state land, DNR probably. If its a county park... you might ask the county... But I am not 100% sure. Somebody else on the site might know. Help me out guys...

Minnesota Deer Hunters Association does several "projects."

My father is a vicepresident of one chapter (area) so I only know what they do.

They do a youth shoot/hunt. 2 released pheasants, 22 target shoot (25shots), and 10 clay pigeons shoot and free lunch. They usally give away a 20ga. and a 22LR. and some other cheap door prizes; small binos/shells/flashlight/camo bags. They usually have a Conservation Officer stop in and give a small speech on safty, laws, and good ethics. They only let in 20kids (cost reasons) and do them kids really love it; good way to get girls out there if there parents dont them out.

They also give away foodplot seed to memebers who are ACTIVELY participating in the chapter and who promise to use it.

Just a couple of things that I participate with in the chapter.
