2009 Bowhunter Observation Survey
This survey has been very popular with many bowhunters. The information obtained from this survey promotes better management of Iowa’s deer herd and provides a better understanding of the trends in Iowa’s furbearer population.
This survey is only conducted during the first bow season, (Oct. 1st-Dec. 4th). The bowhunters who received this survey are asked to record when & where they hunted, how many hours they hunted, and the number of animals seen while bowhunting.
It is important to return the survey completed by Dec. 5th, 2009. If you finish all of your bowhunting prior to the Dec. 5th date, please return the form earlier.
Don't forget to count those feral cats.
