I'm building a cabinet

I hunt private property and have decided that I'm going to build a cabinet at the bottom of my tree stand (which is permanent) so I can store my seat cushion, decoy and other amemities in it during bow season.
Anyone have a brilliant idea to throw into the design on this thing?

Not to be negative but I think I would make it out of metal and wrap it in chains with a dozen padlocks. Didn't think this way until this year when my father-in-laws camera got stolen on his 500 acre farm.

I wouldn't leave it if you don't want to lose it. Friend just lost a new ladder stand, cable lock & all- never even got to sit in it.

Maybe a cabinet that is actually a hollowed out tree stump?

For turkey season we took a plastic big blue barrel and cut a square door out of it. Then we took and put hinges on one side. Next we put a latch and a padlock on it. Seems to keep water out and so far be theft proof. Pretty cheap too since the high water brought it in. We painted it but the paint didn't stick and now it is mostly blue again. Deer do not mind it at all.
