Could someone who is from zone 3 or who has information on Loess Hills Hideaway Cabins please give me some insigth as to what these cabin are like and if there is a better place to stay in the area.

I am from Vermont and thought this would be a good location to start my hunt from as I was told that these cabins a right in the public hunting area. I have not been able to get any private

farms as yet in zone 3 to hunt so this seemed like a good location but we know nothing about these cabins. We intend to continue to try and locate a private farm or two but time is running short and we need to make sure we have a place to stay close to public land ....thanks for any and all input you all would like to share..A huntN friend MXZ..

I don't know a lot about the cabins you are talking about. But there is a couple of bed&breakfasts that are in the area that are pretty good. The Dormitory Inn in Castana and Brinks B&B near Turin are close to public ground and they might even have some idea of private ground that you will be able to get on in the area. I hope this will help you out.
 
I have a couple of friends from school that hunt near Castana and the Onawa area. One of them killed a monster 164 typical. It was on public land.
