This cheap little bow hoist is a very compact, very quiet and is cheap. This post reminds me that I need to buy another one today. Anybody know of another hoist rope with a similar sleek look? I use it every time I hunt. Rope Hoist

The Hunters Specialties deer gambrel system that has a small block and tackle pulley is something I got this year that I have no idea how I lived without. I hung 3 deer off the ground, by myself, in about 10 minutes with hardly any effort.

Me too! I have a buddy that is new to bowhunting and he went out and bought a lot of crap that I never would have bought. I gotta tell ya, some of that stuff worked well like the HS gambrel. He also had one of those Primos bow slings. I'll be getting one of those along with lighted nocks.

Looks like this might work well when putting up the LW and pulling up the sticks.

Wenonah "Vagabond" - royalex solo canoe. A great canoe for solo deer hunting. Fast, lite, not to big, not to small.

Already been said, but:

1. Bino harness
2. EZ hanger bow holder (although I also like the Gorilla one)
3. Range finder
4. Primos bow sling-that thing is awesome!
and I'll throw in
5. Primos can call
6. Under Armour face mask- no more face paint or baggy facemasks, and they're pretty warm when it gets cold.

If you do get one make sure its a 30 footer unless you spend your time 20 and under.
