There was plenty of evidence on CWD about devastating deaths to the deer herd. Didn't happen in 30 years to the deer herds in the west before it ever showed up in the Midwest.

I find that article very interesting as well. I am not looking for an argument with anyone here on IW, but I remain a skeptic that eliminating mineral sites will make any difference in preventing the spread of CWD. The deer are licking each other, and the same things, all of the time...the mineral licks are a small part of the "interaction" between them.
