I posted this on the MinnesotaWhitetails.com website but I thought you all might find it interesting also.

This proves people that you would expect to know better will trespass also....it is the State of Minnesota's airboat on private property

Iowa DNR is basically immune from "trespassing" when carrying out their "duties". Does the Minnesota DNR have similar latitude? Is this a DNR vehicle on DNR "business"?
 
The regional director and his number two said the people involved had no business being down where they were and no idea why they were there.

They were really suprised to see the photo.
 
Hell it looks like Santa has upgraded his equipment to me.....either him or Tink Nathan.
 
Now THATS the way to shed hunt! Sittin' up high skirting the edges....... That is strage for sure.
 
are you guys saying that this is a MN DNR vehicle? what part of the state was this taken?
 
South Central - yes - it is a State of Minnesota airboat.
 
i worked for the mn dnr last summer and into this fall and i was told that the dnr really doesnt need any permission, we were suveying trout populations in se minnesota and we called the landowners out of respect to them and if they requested that we stayed off then we did
 
I believe that circumstance is different because it is on Designated Trout Streams?? As far as I was aware, the MN DNR can't just go where they would like. I have heard of people in S.E. MN that have told wardens to leave their property and they do.

The number 1 & 2 were told that we don't want to see them on our property again and they totally understood
