I've been on the site for about a year now and figured I'd introduce myself now that I've been posting more often. I'm Curtis as you could have guessed, I am a Sophomore at ISU. I know terrible school, I liked Iowa a lot more when I went there last year. Just changed schools for the Biology program and to save the money. I grew up in the Ames area and I continue to hunt Story County. This is my third year deer hunting and on top of that I'm a bowhunter, so I'm still a newbie and will most likely ask a lot of questions. Still looking to get my first buck but have two does under my belt. However I am a pretty talented bowfisher if I say so myself. I also enjoy waterfowl hunting and that is what I grew up doing, Used to go to many goose calling competitions and became really close to the Zink Calls company. That's about all I have to say.

I love this site, everyone is willing to help out and give tips. There isn't much drama as many of the other forums have. Thanks for your time.
 
Nice to meet a fellow iowa stater!!! My name is Mike I live in West Central Ia. but I graduated from ISU in Fish & Wildlife Biology and had many fun years there. Wish I was alittle closer sometimes so I could stop in and talk to the professors I had. Have a good fall.

Whoa there dude, sounds like you went to the right school to me! I'm a die hard Stater and I was there from 05-09. Thank god basketball starts soon, my blood pressure can't take much more terrible football! lol
 
Have relatives that live along the Skunk River not far from you...beautiful turf and should treat you well during the bow season. Good luck :way:
