Iowa Outfitter Questions

I thought this would be a good time to mention our stance concerning advertising for Iowa Outfitters, Iowa leasing & etc.

We do choose to avoid advertising in any form, all Iowa leasing and Iowa whitetail outfitters. Our stance is based primarily on our members view points and the possibility of being linked with a negative experience. Here's a link to a similar conversation a while back . . . link
Outfitting and guiding is a tough business - many have great guides and leases and yet other fall well short of there promises. Do your homework wisely, check references, then do it again and don't rule out a "do it yourself" type of hunt which can be the most rewarding.

If the right Iowa Outfitter with the same values, ethics & morals does come along we could possibly build upon that solo relationship. (with members OK of coarse)

Tony, I think you made the right choice back then and I still feel that way now. If anyone ever goes to huntinfo talk forums they will see that the administrator there is suffering the ill effects of the other choice. He is being accused of not allowing bad reviews of outfitters he likes or those that advertise on his site. His site activity is way down and in my opinion on it's way out. Common sense wins again at iowawhitetail! Maggs
