Iowa Whitetail Potluck/ Fish Fry

Who is interested? What part of the year would work best?

I’d think somewhere in the center of the state would be most fair for people. Any ideas on locations? Maybe we could make it an annual thing. Any suggestions welcome.

I did this for the IW community back in the day, the old Shed Gathering days. .only took losing two farms to people leasing next to me to figure out I did it to myself as only way they knew about it was showing up to my farm.

Tread carefully. I would have it at a community center or I've seen them at a local small town firehouse

My original thought was to have it at a park or something. If someone wants to host that works. If not, I’m sure we can find somewhere.

How’s July 26th at Hickory Grove Park’s Blue Heron Shelter in Colo, IA, sound for people? Central state location. Free shelter to use so if no one shows up for the first one we aren’t out anything and if it’s a good turn out we can plan the next years event. I have really been slacking on the fishing so might just be a potluck unless I get into them good the next few weeks. Hickory grove also has a small archery range that people could also go to and shoot at for free and there’s always fishing.

You guys tell me.
