ISU/ IOWA fundraiser

With the in-state football showdown about a month away, I made a couple of wingbones with each teams' colors. The whole idea is to have some fun with this great rivalry and at the same time raise some money for a great cause. Cyclone and Hawk fans will be bidding on their favorite call throughout the month leading up to the football game on Sept. 11. I will take bids up till midnight the night of the game. Each call will go to person that has the highest bid for that particular call. For the team that gets the higher bid, I will make another wingbone call to be made at a later date for the top bidder. The IA/ISU calls are not finished as I wanted to be able to personalize them the way you want. They will have a clear coat finish. Both will come with a display base and a lanyard. The money from this will be donated to Hunt Of A Lifetime which grants hunting and fishing trips for youths with life threatening illnesses. Please send this to anyone that you think might be interested!

Hopefully we can raise a little money and have some fun deciding who will come out on top!

I will bid $30 on the Black&Gold...GOOOO HAWKEYES.
Another thought....how about a $5 pool...the one picking the winning team and closest to the final score wins a wingbone. How many entrants would you have to get to cover cost of making one?

IA/ ISU Countdown is on!

The Cyclones started off with a great win on Thursday night against a good N. Ill. team and yesterday the Hawks started their season with a win against E. Ill. Now........ both teams will finally meet this Saturday! Can't wait!

On this fundraiser the Hawks are up $100 - $40. Looks like there is room for the Cyclone fans to get in on some bidding!

Thanks to those who have bid so far and let's keep this going for a great cause!

Just about a day and a half left to get a bid in on the calls. The Hawks are doubling up the Clones so far and the same might happen on Saturday!

On a side note, Hunt Of A Lifetime has sent Iowa youths on some great hunts and I know of at least one youth that will traveling to Iowa this fall. The youth could have chose any hunt but was set on experiencing the Iowa rut!
