Opening day...gosh it was great to be in the stand again! Two and a half hours went by in a blink. Passed 4 bucks at chippie range, heard two others sparring a short distance away. and got outsmarted by 2 does in close that should've filled my first antlerless tag. And oh yeah...watched enough squirrels to feed a small army. Now with 85 in the forecast for today, time to go catch some panfish this afternoon. Gotta love October

Awesome morning! Didn't see any deer, but I had 4 red fox sitings and about 100 squirrels.Hunted till noon. Gonna hunt the evening tommorow.
