That when the deer jumped string he ended up in the tree next to me!

It was so windy that it wasnt worth hunting, but I had to go anyway!! And low and behold, it was so windy, nothing was moving, not even the skeeters!

it was so windy that i ALMOST retired from deer hunting and went back to duck/goose hunting when i saw the big flock of northern honkers/greenheads hittin the fields next to home.

they were dancin back and forth on the wind like something you only see in the videos... damn... brought back some good memories. maybe i need to get my stamps, buy some steel, crank out the ol' H&R 10 gauge and beg someone to take me honker bustin.

I was out in central Nebraska for a turkey hunt, and had to get up around 1 a.m. Saturday morning to put a few extra ropes on the tent to keep it from blowing away. Definitely the windiest night I've ever spent outdoors!!
