JC Higgens Model 60 12 GA Semiauto....

Anyone know much about guns and what they are worth? I have a JC Higgens 12GA model 60 semiauto shotgun that I got in a trade. It is in very good condition for being made in the 50's. It shoots just fine, but I am looking to get sell it and buy a new slug gun. Anyone know what it may be worth??

I don't have a great answer for you but my Guntrader from a couple years ago indicates it's a Sears shotgun. It does not, however list your model 60 or any semi-autos for that matter. Most comparabile is the model 20 pump which is $160 excellent and $109 good. Slightly higher for vent rib and adj. choke.

not a whole heck of alot, to be honest. i looked in my book, but JC Higgins guns were sold under alot of names, back in the day. (sears, JC penny, coast-to-coast, etc) i would have to see it to try to figure out what model it compares too. the book had no listings for JC higgins. i owned a pump JC higgins about 15 years ago. heck of a nice gun. about all i can tell you is to try taking it to a gun show, and ask some dealers what they might give you on trade, or run a search on gunbroker.com, or gunsamerica.com.
