Sorry for the large post but I thought I would share how I spent my weekend. All total we processed about 525 pounds of meat this weekend. This is a great time. About 6 of us get together and process deer for our self and others. You can't believe how many people in town stop by and check things out. They stop by for a little sample a cold beer and a lot of B S ing. This was our second weekend of this and probably have 2 weekends left. When it is all said and done we will have processed in the neighborhood of 2000 pounds of meat, lots of beer and told the same hunting stories more times than that!!
I look forward to this almost as much as I do for Opening Day. Here is kind of a step by step of how it goes. Once again I'm sorry this is so large but I wanted to share it with everyone here.

And the best part, a cold beer and fresh jerky out of the smoker. This is a good friend of mine who has all of the equipment and the building where we do it. He is a true friend......
