That's one ugle cat! What's he got mange or something? Look at that tail, weird! Cool Santa hat and Elf boots though.
 
Those are the ugliest critters on the planet - I killed one the other day shed hunting with the right side shed that I found...it was sitting on a log when I went by acting all sick so I put him out of his misery and thumped him - twice.
 
kratz, it's almost like you read my mind...how can a man stand the smell of skunk that close doubleA? come on we know you have first hand experience with this type of thing what's your secret?

and congrats bickal this is the first person i think i've seen actually posing for a harvest pic with a possum...and knowing it.
 
I sot a possum a few weeks ago on the deck. Made a bad shot and he crawled under the barbq where a head shot did him in. I'm gonna leave him there for the wife to find next spring.

I go to a lunch meeting, come back.... Dive right in to work(which means opening IW) and i see a post about a possum!! First thoughts are OH GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice work with the 220 there Bonker.....I love it when they get caught with both sets of springs like that....what do you think is the last thought that goes throgh their head as those jaws settle into place other than "I'm F'd". The Conibear is in my opinion is the best trap ever invented.
 
The last thing that goes through their mind is a little piece of steel going a couple hundred miles a hour.

I thought Juanita had consumed too much Slo Gin and had puked it up. I just assumed thats how Gunpuppy liked his women. Drunk and unconsious.

i must have missed that one last summer 'Bonker. i should have known that someone would come up with a harvest picture with a possum....as for gunpuppy's that isn't a harvest photo it's a "found on the road and had to take a picture to harass andy" photo.

nonetheless, i'm not at all surprised 'Bonker.
 
I actually looked on the DNR's website to make sure it was still open season on possum /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Could you imagine the headline.... "Iowa Man Looses Gun, Truck and pays $10,000 fine for poaching a possum" /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif It better be a high scoring possum /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
