Switching gears now from turkeys to velvet bucks. These are a few pics from this week.

A few bucks around last seasons mock rub trees, in the clover.

Great pictures Joe!! The Iowa Hyena is funny! He better find some fur in the next 6-7 months or hes going to freeze his seeds off! LOL

Great pics, as usual! You have it all going in your back yard wildlife wise. I took my fake trees down a couple of months ago, do you leave some out all year? I was going to put some fresh ones in late August or so.

Daver- I took the ones in the rowcrop out in march, but the trees in the clover still get alot of attention. I replaced the one in the first 2 pics yesterday, and watered it in good. The closest tree had new growth coming out around the trunk, below the rub, despite putting it in the ground, in august, and as dry of a fall/winter we had. So that one I sawed off below the rub. That's why I like the willows, they stay alive alot longer, and sometimes take off the next year.

Can't believe those trees still get attention from the bucks like that. I've seen some nasty looking yotes from trail cams tand that thing is probably near the top.

Another great set of pics. The picture of that tom should be in a frame. Can't wait to see the next pull.
