kansas nr bowhunt tags/refund checks out today

Got word that I am in for Kansas bowhunting privelages this year. That makes 2 for 2 for me. good luck to the rest of you. tags went out in the mail today.

Congrats DOR. After two years of not drawing, Nonres and I will be hunting Kansas this fall. Looks like a lot of people even with a point didn't draw so I feel pretty lucky. We hunted KS in 2000 and 15 minutes into our hunt I had a 144 inch 8 point come in and that was the end of my hunt. I would do it again but if it lasts a little longer this year that would be nice as well. Nonres shot a medium size 8 from the same stand the next morning so we were done hunting pretty quick.

Me and 3 friends that putin for kansas didnt draw this year,RATS

pybucks, did you guys hunt private or public land when you went? I went last year late season(12-26-1-1-03,got a good deal from an outfitter for hunting rights plus a tag)500$. Shot a doe and saw one good buck. Did see about 1000 rubs on one of the 300 acre farms he had. which made me wonder what that places potential was during early NOV. This was in ne ks. if you want to compare notes good or bad, email me or PM me. I woul be curious to hear about what others are planning on doing down there this year. DOR, we hunted private property that we obtained permission on. We just knock on doors and treat the landowners right. I sent you an email.
