keeping warm in late season

Was just wondering, What other late season hunters do to keep their feet warm while wearing rubber knee high boots?

i dont wear rubber boots during late season but my dad usually does. he just wears goretex booties that fit inside of them and he swears his feet never get cold. i think over the years his feet just got numb or something. i wear rocky blizzard stalkers, they are really warm. somethings to try are the soles where you can put one of those little warmers you mix with air to heat up, those work good. or those boot blankets that fit over your boots work really well too, if you are sitting in stand.some people also wear a light pair of socks to the stand and then put on a heavy pair in the stand to stay warm and have their feet not sweat because that is one of the major factors in staying warm. well whatever you decide goodluck!!!!

I didnt check Ironwoods link, but I think its for Bootblankets, or similar under another name. If so, I agree totally. They are absolutely the only thing that will keep my feet warm, and Ive tried alot of things.
When I first got them I only took one with me to test them. Right foot stayed toasty warm all morning, my left foot was frozen after about an hour and a half. I ended up wishing I had brought both, but I knew for a fact they worked.
Kind of a pain to carry, but thats the only drawback.

I just slip in toe warmers before light and it gets me through the morning.
