Are there any other more "cost effective" substitutes for Round-Up? I've got about 3 or 4 acres that I want to spray from an ATV sprayer, and I didn't know what would give me the best results????
Lots of generic versions of Round-up with the active ingredient of glyphosate. If you want to go cheaper than that, it gets tougher as you need to more accurately identify the weeds to select the herbicide.

There are several generic or "house" brands of weed killer that contain glyphosphate, but something to look for is the percentage of gly in the mix. I have seen it at 41% strength, 47%, etc. Be aware of that when comparing prices and products, the stronger strength products will run more but they may be a better value since it is a stronger concentrate.
Ranger, Buccaneer, Touchdown, or Cornerstone are just a few of the generics. Anything with "Gly" in the name will most likely be a RU generic. Others are right when saying check the label for percentages. Should be able to find a generic at any farm supply store for around 30$/gal.
