Kitchenaid food processor (meat grinder)

Does anyone have a Kitchenaid food processor attachment (meat grinder) and if so, do you like it? Does it work well for grinding meat?

I know it's no high end meat grinder but we got a Kitchenaid mixer and I saw there is a possible grinder attachment so I was curious if anyone had used one and what their thoughts were.

Thanks!

It's what I have used the last 4-5 years. Not a high volume grinder by any means, but it gets the job done.

I have this as well and easily gets the job done. Have to cut into thinner pieces but works just fine

Same here. Ground up the better part of two deer so far and some bear. Works pretty well, but not what you'd call a speedy process. Beats a hand crank without a doubt. Not as fast as a dedicated grinder, but not as expensive either.

Before grinding, cut out the tendons as much as possible, and stop regularly to clean out the cutter as they build up.

I wasn't very careful on the bear, and stripped the accessory drive gear in the mixer transmission. $40 later, I have replacement gears, and it works great again. There were plenty of warning signs that a problem was developing. My own fault for not heeding.
