Well, I sold my old farm this spring (hard to do :() and bought a new one to be closer to my family. It was definitely the right thing to do but still tough.

I started three licks this spring and really didn't know what to expect

I set cams out a few weeks ago and got the cards yesterday for my first pull. I had over 7000 pics

Unfortunately one with over 2000 had a leaf that had blown into the lens...so alot of tails and noses :thrwrck:

I got a good buck, alot of turks but no poults, and a good number of does.

I am still confused on how to determine if I have too many does but will have to try and figure it out?

The bad news was that there were only 5 bucks on those pics: A spike, two 2.5's, the nice buck, and a 3.5.

The habitat is great and there has been zero food on this farm for years until this year putting 3 acres of beans and 3 acres of clover-albeit everybody around me does have food. I have a sanctuary in the middle of about 35 acres and excellent habitat. Now all I need is time and patience :)

I was a bit spoiled after working so hard on my old farm to build it up but what fun would it be to just take over a gem ;) (Ok..would be nice but this way I can watch it grow and start over)

So, we will see what the rest of the summer shows but it's a start :drink1:

Looks good Eyad. I'm sure you'll come up with something... you always do!

Sweet pics! Now you can start building long histories with many of the bucks on this farm.
