anyone know how to get seized plug out of knight wolverine inline? is it a left or right handed thread?

Pentrating oil - good idea, heat I would say bad idea. I think I would try using a cheater pipe or something to get you more leverage. That and I would try using cold. Put some ice on the metal to see if it might help loosen it up just a smidgeon. Good luck...

I had a CVA given to me by a relative with a seized plug. Took it to a gunsmith who suggested sending it to CVA. For about $50, CVA drilled it out for me and put in a 209 conversion plug. You might want to call Knight and see what kind of suggestions they have.

Plug the primer hole, stand it in a corner and half fill the barrel with Fantistic. Let set for about 3 days then clamp it down in a vice and turn it out. If it still wont come out put some PB Blaster in it and let it soak for a while. If that doesn't work send it to Knight. I have heard that they have never had one they they couldn't get loose.

That happened to my gun the other day, took a long extension and a socket wrench to get it out

I had a Tradition that the plug got stuck all the time no matter how well I cleaned it, the steel was inferior steel, the black powder remnants corroded the barrel easily. That cost me a BIG buck the gun did not go off because of the lubricants used to get the breech plug out, even though I fired many caps thought it prior to loading. My new TC SS Omega has zero problems with corrosion. Plus now I shoot 777
