I knew tonight was gonna be a goodie. I stayed at work all day (fool). My huntin' buddy decided he needed to go to a spot that we were both excited to hunt this week. I got the call from him around 5:15. I could tell something was up just by his tone. I high tailed it over there skipping the wifes home-made tacos. We looked for what seemed like eternity and found no arrow or blood. Decided to look a little further and started to find blood...found him 50-60 yards from the shot. This was by far the toughest drag I ever had the dis-pleasure of participating in. All well worth it. His best buck to date and definitely a trophy. Congrats to Scott Kriegel.
