We are buying a lab pup with the intent to train him to shed hunt. We drove to northwest Iowa earlier this week and met the pups, parents and owners. The owners are very nice people. He will be coming to DesMoines on Tuesday (June 22) and has agreed to bring the pup to me. He sent me the following message today.
"We still have two black males if you know of anyone else interested. One of them will be a large dog and the other a medium. Thanks again"
They are $250 with dewclaws removed and they have their first shots. Both parent's are pointing labs. The father is a good looking dog. They will be 7 weeks old on Tuesday, June 22nd.
The pup on the left is ours. Obviously the date on the camera was not set.

And the father. The owner says that the father runs around 100 lbs in the off season and about 85 lbs during hunting season.
If you are interested in a male black lab pup let me know and I will get you in touch with him. There is nothing in this for me, just a good opportunity since he is coming to DesMoines on Tuesday.
