Guys, I think that i have created a monster!!! This is my GF's buck from this year in KS. She started bow hunting with me 3 years ago and has really turned out to be a successful hunter. Her first year was a bust... She didn't get an opportunity at a shooter buck and she was battling through the things that rookie bow hunters have to figure out. Last year on the other hand she finally connected with her first deer. It was just a doe but it only set the tempo for the rest of the year. She ended up killing 3 doe and FINALLY harvested a nice management 8 pointer. He was a young buck but it was her first buck so she was happy and i was equally happy for her. Things really took a turn for the better for her this year! She is a full time college student and works full time so she has limited time to sit in the stand. Fortunately for her, she was able to harvest the buck below on her second night sitting in the stand. It is her first mature buck and her biggest to date scoring just below 140". We had several pictures of him and know the he is a 5 year old deer. She is extremely excited and proud of her buck. And once again, i am equally proud of her!
