I was up at my dad's cranberry marsh in WI this weekend working on some odds and ends. With all the rain they were getting we had a good amount of water running into one of our ponds. Typically when this happens we get a lot of bass feeding here. We grabbed our fishing poles, threw on some tube jigs, and started casting.
In a 1/2 hour of fishing I pulled in 3 largemouths over 20" and we both had multiple fish between 16" and 19", all from the same spot! They seemed pretty skinny so we need to start working on thinning the population out. There's bass, bluegill, sunfish, and crappie in this pond.
