Last Day. Tagged Out!

Took a buddy of mine out this morning and the plan was to get him his first bow bird. Couldn't have worked out any better but this guy decided 35yds was close enough. After putting on quite the show (strutting at 35yds for over 10 minutes). Two hens come out on the other side of the field. The distance started to stretch as he strutted around so I decided it was now or never. I grabbed the 12 gauge and filled my 4th season tag. Not near as sweet as a bowkill but I'll take it. Gotta love Dave Smith Decoys!:way:

Awesome job Justin.

Sometimes especially late in the season that is how it works out.

Nice little flock there. :)

Got thinking about it and this is my first turkey with a gun. I went about it backwards and killed a few with a bow before the gun. I loved every second of it but I'm kindof obsessed with killing everything with my bow.:D
