I was out today coyote/shed hunting and saw at least a dozen new rubs that weren't there 2 weeks ago. I have never noticed fresh rubs occuring this late in the past. What is yall's experience with this?
I noticed the same things this weekend. I saw a few rubs that looked fresh. Sure enough, there was fresh shredded bark on top of the snow. The question I had was, were they rubbing for the same reason as usual, or were they rubbing trying to get them to fall off.
It could be only my imagination, but I thought I was seeing more fresh rubs in late muzz also. Could it be because of the missed up weather we had this year?
