I've heard many of times that an old buck is fairly lazy, well except for rut! But they mostly choose to take easy paths that aren't a hassle to walk through. But I know thats not the case when they are being pressured.
I talked to the farmer who farms the field where I hunt, and they are going to plow the field in early november is weather corroperates. I saw a lot of deer in this field last year when it was beans. I was wondering since it's going to be chiseled plowed if the bucks are going to care to walk through the deep ruts just to snack on a few ears of corn. I'm waiting to hear what all of you think before I hang a tree stand up on the edge of the field.
Good hunting
