Leaf River IR Digital Camera

Is anybody using these? I was going to purchase a cuddeback IR but after hearing all of the negative feedback on them I think I will pass. Haven't ever heard to much about the leaf rivers. Not to crazy about 4 D batteries and 3 C batteries. I would be the guinea pig but I don't have the pocket book to be doing that.

I don't have the IR version but I have the Flash version and am very happy with the leaf river brand.

I also have the flash version LR. It does pretty good on a salt lick, scrape, or other point of interest that holds a deer still for a bit. Too slow for effective use on a trail though. Battery life is outstanding, I know I had way over 1000 pics (maybe 2000?) and a good 6 months on my last set of batteries. Photo quality is so-so, 2 mp. 3 of us bought the LR's and two had to be exchanged or fixed due to problems, customer service was decent though.
