Leaf River IR

I've been messing aroung with a Leaf River IR since last weekend.
I've found that placement is critical. To close and the pics get washed out.
The IR flash seems good though.

I've been leaning towards the Leaf River IR myself. Keep us posted on your results, I at least am very interested in them. Thanks for sharing Shovel!

I've been trying to get one of those but they've been sold out. I decided to try the cuddeback no flash. Putting it out tomorrow. I hope the kinks are worked out of them or it will be going back.

Nice buck btw.

The flash does not scare the deer.

We got this guy about 30 times in a row. If a buck like this does not scare, others will probably not.

Well. I'm done messing with the Leaf River IR. I think as a scouting camera over a scrape it would/could be a good tool. On trails the trigger is too slow and the pics are blurry if the deer is moving very much. I was getting a lot of pics of the northbound end of southbound deer. Battery life was good.
