I know more people were out banging away this weekend. Driving deer etc. lets see those pictures of piles of deer and BIG bucks that you brought down.

I was in a group of 13 guys. We shot 15 deer..I got a good ten, and my dad brought in a monster 8 last night. I will have pics up asap.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think most of our guys are hardcore bowhunters. Might not be that many gunners out there?????

This site does have some “hardcore bow hunters”, we also have a growing number of bow/gun hunters. Some members hunt gun season only.

My point is we are all deer hunters or we would not be viewing this site. I am certain that out members would like to see photo’s and hear the story of any legally harvested deer. We do not discriminated when it comes to any legal method of harvest in any state that a member resides in.

I uploaded a photo into the 2005 trophy gallery. Its called Ryans 05 shotgun buck...If I knew how to get it over here, I would gladly do it..Its not the best pic, but will do until the film is developed

Here's a few pictures of what we harvested the last few days. The first one is the buck that I harvested on the last drive of opening day. My buddy pushed him across the timber to me. When he busted out of the timber I hit him with one shot and he went down, take a close look at the middle of his neck. I've always wanted to shoot a nice buck in a snowstorm. The second buck came on tuesday morning. We had pushed this section twice previous and both times good bucks had escaped. I guess the third time was the charm, one shot put him down cleanly. Neat thing about this buck is the split G2. Almost had a match on the other side. All in all it was a good season. We saw some nice deer, shot a few nice ones and we all came home safe. Good luck to all second season gunners.
