Leupold RX-600 owners ??

Any Leupold RX-600 rangefinder owners out there ?? I am considering this RF to replace a Nikon 550 that I seem to have lost this spring (sometimes my stupidity is really embarrassing ) . I have a set of Leupold binos that I am very happy with and was curious to get any feedback on this other Leupold product. Got no complaints about the Nikon 550 but the Leupold seems a bit smaller with similar features. I know the Nikon is stated as waterproof and the RX-600 water resistant, however I think that is merely Leupolds way of stating it's not meant to be submerged under water.

my RX-600 started acting up and reads dead on to 30 yards and then it can be off +/- 4 yards so I'm gonna upgrade before the season starts

I haven't had a problem with mine...

Hotshott....have you tried to contact the company. Leupold is great to deal with and with no drops out of a tree stand or unusual abuse they should still honor their waranty i think
