It is all about getting lucky and having a hot doe in the area. Was slow most of the morning until a hot doe ran through an adjacent ridge (100yds away) with 3 bucks in tow. The first in line was a giant, then they seemed to go down in size and age. After they went through, obviously not interested in any calls I saw the second buck come back through on the other side of my stand. He had blood on his tines and looked liked a whipped pup! I tried to call, but clearly he just got destroyed by the big guy!
