Would be nice to have a pair locked, especially a couple nice ones. Just curious, what is the law here if you shoot a locked buck with one that is dead? Can you legally keep both? I see it as not any different than finding a dead deer and not tagging it. Maybe he had someone else tag the second one, this is the only way I see it being legal.

You can get a salvage tag from the DNR...no different than road-kill.

Pretty easy,in this case, to prove the other one had been dead before he shot the one that was alive.

If two deer are locked and alive, you can NOT legally shoot them both.

Wow that would a find of a lifetime for sure. I found it rather funny though that he has already thought about how much this could be worth. Nonetheless an amazing story he won't soon forget.
