Loess Hills

Drew NR tag for Zone 3 plan on hunting the Loess Hills just wondering what the hunting pressure is like in the hills.

On public not bad. Just speaking second hand, but I know guys that were out last couple years. Not insane or a “huge” issue.

Can u get time to hunt beyond the nov 1 to 15 madness? A return trip late nov is usually really good & pressure way down.

So much of it is weather. Last year I know some guys hit public and it was very warm… 70s ….they shot one good one by sitting near a creek.

They had to leave just as the cold front moved in. That last day they saw the most action, during the cold/snow.
