Lone Wolf Alpha hang-on stand?

I am trying to pick out a stand to ask for a christmas gift.

I really wanted a Bear River Pro Hunter, but Bear River has went out of business. I liked this stand due to its easiness to hang and it has a leveling seat and platform.

The only Hang-on stand that I found that has the same leveling option is the Lone Wolf Alpha Hang-On. What do you all think of this stand (for thoughs of you that use it)? Is it a top of the line hang on stand in your opinion? I use API, Bear River and Wahoo/Hunters View hang-ons. Can't say that one is the best each have there good points and bad.

I am looking for a stand that is light, hangs easy, has a good size platform and is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and has no creeks or noise.

Do you recommend the Lone Wolf over anything you have used?

Please help me make an informed decision on what to ask for. Thanks in advance!!!

We use the LW climbing sticks and love them

. There are some good stands on the market, but IMO, none are better than Chippewa's line of stands....though a bit pricey, they are everything you are looking for in a treestand. We use both the Chief and Wedge-Loc models.

I own both the Lone Wolf and the Chippewa Wedgelocs (actually 2 of the Chippewas)..... they are both great stands. I like each of them for different purposes.... if you move around a lot during the season, then the Lone Wolf with the climbing sticks is the way to go.... the Chippewa is more pricey but ease of hanging is great! The Lone Wolf is a solid stand only if you use 2 hanging straps... the Chippewa you just drop it in the harness and it is SOLID. The Chippewa can be ordered at different seat heights (at 6'4" I really like the tall seat option)... I like both stands just for different reasons.... I hope that I did not just make the decision more confusing

Just bought the Alpha hang on this season with the sticks. It is lightwieght and goes up in a snap. If you find a hot spot it can be up in a few minutes. The leveling option is also great. I'm going to move mine this afternoon as soon as I get out of this programming room.

Baby-G, I have fourteen hang on stands, two API'S, two North Stars, two Homebrew's, one noname, five Lone Wolf's, ( and a Warren & Sweat/ Loggy Bayou, that will never see a tree ever again). By far the Wolf's are the best, dead silent and so stable they are like standing on the ground,

they are my favorites, although I would like to try one of the Wedge Locks.
